Boca Raton Homes~Area Museums

 For those of you with Boca Raton homes I want to share with you some fun things to do in our area. Museums are a great way to spend your weekends or any other day for that matter. The following partial list has been compiled for you in no particular order and all have hours of fun for you and your children or grandchildren to enjoy. 

The Boca Raton Children's Museum has many exhibits ranging from art stations to role play areas to space exploration and more. Admission is $3 per person, infants are free. Group rates and birthday parties have special pricing. The Boca Raton Children's Museum is located at 498 Crawford Blvd and can be reached at 561-368-6875.  They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12pm until 4pm.

For the sports enthusiasts in you, you may want to check out Sports Immortals Museum. The Sports Immortals Museum has more than a million pieces of sports memorabilia for you to enjoy. The museum is located at 6830 North Federal Hwy and their phone number is 561-997-2575. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children. This must-see attraction is open from 10am-6pm Monday through Friday. Saturday hours are from 11am-5pm.

The Boca Raton Historical Society is here to help educate you on the history of our great city. The Boca Raton Historical Society exhibit of maps, photographs and memorabilia is located inside Town Hall, 71 North Federal Highway. Hours are from 10am-4pm Monday through Friday admission is free.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is located at 501 Plaza Real, In Mizner Park. The Boca Raton Museum of Art is considered by many to be South Florida's finest cultural attraction. Admission is free for children 12 and under, students with an ID are $4, adults are $8, and seniors 65 and up are $6. Hours are Saturday and Sunday 12pm-5pm, Tues.,Thurs. and Fri. 10am-5pm. Weds.  has extended hours from10am-9pm.
