Mizner Park is finally getting a Lord & Taylor, which has opened and is in full swing. The grand opening provided plenty of great opportunities for those in the community from photo opps to a drink bar and so much more. It lasted for three days and DJs were on site providing plenty of entertainment.
This store used to be in the Town Center at Boca Raton, but it closed in 2002. For over a decade, the store has not been located in Boca. The parent company, Hudson's Bay Company, received a number of requests to return the store to the area. It took a while, but the store is finally back in Boca.
The building is 80,000 square feet with two stories and an impressive look. It provides large windows with 35,000 light bulbs and three large Italian chandeliers. This is a bright space with plenty to show, including three hundred mannequins throughout the store. The floors are spotless white and provide a beautiful and clean look.
This isn't just another store opening in Boca. It shows the success of the downtown development project, more amenities and services in the shopping arena, new jobs to the area, top labels and there literally is something for everybody.
During the grand opening, the company used 10% of the purchases to help support the Junior League of Boca Raton and other charities. This is a big move forward for the community and the store is open for business.
