Boca Oceanfront 55+ Condos In a place like Boca Raton, where the weather is gorgeous all year long and the scenic South Florida oceanfront is always accessible, 55+ condos are highly sought-after by active adults looking to make the most of their retirement. In most instances, 55+ communities in Boca Raton require at least one person who is 55 or over, and as you might expect, most also include all sorts of resort-style amenities that combine to provide one heck of a living experience.

Safety is also a primary advantage to living in a 55+ condo in Boca, not to mention the added layer of security and the social aspect of it too. But with so many 55+ communities and condo buildings to choose from, deciding which may be the best fit isn’t always easy. On the flip side, however, if living right along the oceanfront is also a top priority during your 55+ condo search, several buildings stand out right now, including three that we consider to be among the best when it comes to views, amenities, and value.

Sabal Point - 700 S. Ocean, Boca Raton

If plenty of living space along with great ocean views is what you’re after, condos for sale at Sabal Point offer two to three-bedroom floor plans with anywhere from 1,710 to 3,200 square feet. Balconies attached to units at Sabal Point are also quite spacious, and the unobstructed views of the ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Lake Boca Raton are also downright jaw-dropping.

Inlet Plaza - 6885 N. Ocean Blvd, Ocean Ridge FL

Although originally built back in 1974, Inlet Plaza’s location directly on the oceanfront still makes it one of the more highly sought-after 55+ condo buildings in the area. In addition, many condos for sale at Inlet Plaza have also been updated to include all the modern interior finishes you’d want from a turn-key unit, and the outdoor pool area here also provides spectacular views of the Atlantic that won’t every grow old.

Carlton House - 2701 S. Ocean Blvd, Highland Beach, FL

The Carlton House features just 32 units overall, making it one of the more intimate oceanfront condo buildings you’ll find. But with more than half of the residents here calling it home year-round, the tight-knit community feel you get at Carlton House makes it highly desirable, and that’s even before you see the awesome ocean views that can be enjoyed from just about every single unit in the building.
