Foreclosures and Bank-Owned Properties
As a result of the recent economic downturn in the housing market, many properties are repossessed by the lenders in a lengthy legal process called foreclosure. These bank-owned properties are then listed for sale. Buyers can get some great deals on foreclosures -- but must be cautious as often these distressed properties are in serious disrepair. It is important to work with a Real Estate team with experience successfully selling bank owned properties.
