South Florida housing in 2016: Some predictions

What is in store for South Florida real estate in 2016? 

As the Broker of a productive Boca Raton real estate agency, I am involved in not only my own transactions, but those of my busy agents as well. Additionally, I am an avid consumer of business and political news, and am particularly interested in how current trends impact our local community.

Sales in Tower 155 Condos in Boca Raton Top 50 Percent

Boca’s newest luxury condo community, Tower 155, with 128 units, is shaping up to change the landscape in the Mizner Park area of downtown Boca. In just six short months, over 50% of the condo units are sold. Construction is expected to begin in early 2016 when pre-construction sales reach 70%.

Not Much Downtown Boca Raton Space Left for Building

Building a new home in downtown Boca will soon be a thing of the past. If you're looking to build in this area, you better make a decision very soon.

The downtown area has 469 residential units under construction and anther 558 expected to be under construction by the middle of 2014. This has caused the downtown area to run out of residential space.

In fact, 88% of the downtown space allocated for residential units has been developed or scheduled for development. This reality causes the potential for many changes for the future of downtown Boca.

The city will most likely need to look at some of the office and retail space to change the current mix. They may need to expand the amount of square footage approved for building or they may need to expand…

Boca Experts Awarded With Most Sales in 200 East

Our very own Karen Rothstein was recently awarded with being the agent with the most number of sales within Downtown Boca's 200 East condo development!
