Boca Raton
is home to three excellent Florida beaches with plenty of sand, surf and fun. The two-mile stretch of beaches featuring lifeguards is well known throughout the area. If you've been searching for a serene environment full of necessary peace and quiet, the beaches in Boca will provide the quiet you seek.

Three parks connect throughout the area to provide the best beaches in the area. These parks are Red Reef Park, South Beach and Spanish River Park. Miles of beaches provide plenty of places to lie out and soak up some of the famous Florida sunshine. There are also plenty of playgrounds, picnic tables, restrooms grills and more found throughout these parks.

Whether you just want to head to the beach for sunbathing and swimming or you prefer a good volley ball game, you can find what you're looking for throughout these three parks. There are also areas for surfing, snorkeling and kayaking. Even the physically challenged can enjoy the Boca Raton beaches with wheel chair access available.

Red Reef Park opens daily at 8am and stays open until 10pm. This park provides beach access, along with snorkeling, fishing and more. The Gumbo Limbo Environmental Education Center is found here and there are plenty of picnic areas.

The Spanish River Park provides beach access with lifeguards on duty from 9am to 5pm. There are also places for fishing, picnicking and overnight camping for the youth. This beach caters to groups with large picnic areas and shelters.

South Beach Park provides three beach access points with elevated walkways. Lifeguards patrol the area every day from 9am to 5pm and this beach is most well known for the beach area. Fishing is allowed in designated areas and you can view the South Beach SurfCam at, http://video-monitoring.com/beachcams/boca/.

There are plenty of activities and areas to enjoy at all three parks. Boca Raton is also home to a fourth park called South Inlet Park, but it's not considered one of the best beaches in the area.
