This coming Sunday night marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah (Chanukah). Also known as the Jewish Festival of Lights observers celebrate by lighting the Menorah (candelabra) candles for eight nights. The following cities will be celebrating the holiday with the following events.
MENORAH LIGHTING - DELRAY BEACH - DECEMBER 6TH @ 5:30PM
Delray Beach will host a ceremonial lighting of the first Menorah candle at sundown Sunday, which is about 5:30 p.m.
The candle lighting will be held on the grounds of Old School Square, 51 N. Swinton Ave., adjacent to Atlantic Avenue. Limited seating will be available.

8TH ANNUAL MENORAH LIGHTING - JUPITER - DECEMBER 7TH @ 4:00PM
Join the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches for a community candle lighting. Events will include children’s activities, concert by local Rabbis and Cantors, Magic Jack Show and more.
This event is free and open to all and will be happening at Harbourside Place Amphitheatre in Jupiter located at Harbourside Place, 200 U.S. Highway 1.

11TH ANNUAL CHANUKAH FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY CHABAD OF WEST PALM BEACH - CITYPLACE - DECEMBER 9TH @ 4:30PM-8:00PM
Entertainment for children of all ages!
Face painting, crafts, edible art. Don’t miss out on the hot latkes (potato pancakes), sufganiyot (doughnuts), dreidels (spinning tops), and chocolate gelt (chocolate coins). Prizes are being raffled off too.
All of this will be taking place at 700 S Rosemary Avenue in the heart of CityPlace.
MENORAH LIGHTING - BOCA RATON - TOWN CENTER - DECEMBER 10TH @ 6:00PM
Join Chabad of Boca Raton and local dignitaries at the Town Center Mall (across from Saks Fifth Avenue Department Store) as they celebrate 26 years of sharing this holiday with all of Boca Raton.
Latkes and sufganiyot will be served. Free menorahs and special entertainment for the kids.

The grand Menorah lighting will be taking place at the Palm Beach Outlets located off of Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. All are invited for music, latkes, face painting and more.
