Boca Raton provides some of the most sought after communities in all of South Florida. With boaters, beach lovers and ocean lovers flocking to this area, many of the homes provide at least a view of the water. However, when it's important to find a place with a deepwater dock right outside your back door, you need to know where to look. Here are the top Boca communities on the Intracoastal Waterway.
Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club
Found off Camino Real and located in front of the Spanish River Land, this is the only country club community with both yachting and golf in Boca. A variety of custom homes are found throughout and many include access to the water and the golf course.
Bel Marra
Bel Marra is found between the Boca Keys and the Boca Harbour. This community provides many waterfront homes with a European design. Most homes provide a private dock for larger boats on the inland waterway and some provide deep-water canal docks, as well.
Boca Bay Colony
Located between the Boca Harbour and Tropic Isle, this community is perfect for boaters. With many beautiful beaches nearby, gourmet restaurants and amazing shopping options, it's convenient to most of the city. The homes are manly custom estates with private docks providing deepwater access.
The Sanctuary
Another waterfront community found between Spanish River Boulevard and the Boca Marina, The Sanctuary is a very luxurious choice. The community provides 107 custom built homes all on one-half or one-third acre lots. Each home is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway or on a private canal.
This community is also home to Har-Tru tennis courts, a 20-slip marina, a 27-acre wildlife preserve and many other amenities.
