The first month of the new year has ended and the Florida Realtors® report for January 2017 is here. Palm Beach County’s numbers show a market recovering from the holiday season slump in December as sales rose significantly year-over-year. Inventories also grew, beginning the year with a more balanced market.

The Florida Realtors® report for December 2016 is in, and Palm Beach County’s numbers are interesting. Keeping with trends demonstrated in past months, sales slowed down slightly as the year closed out — reflective of a market that may be shifting from one that favors sellers.  However, the other statistics brought good news for buyers and sellers alike.
