Boca Raton is improving every day and many new things are announced regularly. Some of the top news stories are improvements to the area, new events coming to the city and many other great things for residents. Here are some of the recent things in the city.

The 2014 JCC Maccabi Games Will be Held in Boca Raton

The city of Boca Raton expects over 1,000 Jewish teen athletes to show up and compete in the 2014 JCC Maccabi games. This event will happen from August 10th to 15th in 2014. Volunteers are needed and those in charge are looking for athletes, families and sponsors for the event, as well.

A New Restaurant Opening in Boca Raton

The restaurant 13 American Table has opened its second location at East Palmetto Park Road. This restaurant is owned by the same person behind Tucci's pizzeria and will provide app types of great eats in the city.

The restaurant will serve a contemporary American cuisine with food cooked quickly on a charcoal grill. Some dishes will be prepared in a high temperature oven and will retain delicious flavors. Menu items range from grilled salmon to filet mignon and many other choices.

High End Vehicles form Tesla Potentially Coming to Boca Raton

Tesla wants to add a new location in the Boca mall and the city is considering the sports car company. Tesla creates electric sports cars with the lowest price over $60,000. These luxury cars come from a California based company and the new location will go into the Town Center at Boca Raton, if it's approved.

Traditional car dealers have not been approved within the area because they display vehicles outside. However, Tesla has made a proposal for a location not including outside displays of vehicles. The only thing left to be approved is the six cars Tesla wants to park outside for test drives. If everything makes it through the city, the location could be opening very soon.
