In honor of all American veterans of all wars, Boca Raton will be holding the following ceremonies and events on Wednesday, November 11, 2015:
9:00 am - Boca Raton Cemetery, 449 SW 4th Avenue
Ceremony: “ALL GAVE SOME……SOME GAVE ALL”. The event will include comments by Mayor Susan Haynie, Boca Raton Community High School NJROTC, honor guards and patriotic music by the Boca High School Band. For more information call 561.393.7748.
9:30 am - Veteran’s Park, 9400 W. Palmetto Park Road
Ceremony: Procession of colors, guest speakers and patriotic music. For more information call 561.963.6755.
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - Mizner Park Amphitheater 590 Plaza Real (off Federal Highway just south of Glades Rd).
Free Concert presented by the City of Boca Raton. The Florida Wind Symphony will be featured at Mizner Park Amphitheater. The concert will be “An American Tribute”. Bring blankets and chairs. Food and beverages will be available to purchase. For more information call 561.393.7073.
Please also note that all Boca Raton city facilities will be closed in observance of this holiday, but all parks will be open.
