Holiday Season Events in Boca RatonFrom Boca to Delray Beach, you’ll find plenty of holiday-themed events planned for Palm Beach County this year, and we've covered most of them below:

100-Foot Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony- November 30

Delray Beach is going all out in a big way this holiday season, starting with the lighting of the city’s infamous 100-foot tall Christmas tree. Santa, himself, will do the honor the evening of November 30.

Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade- December 2

Stretching from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Lighthouse, the Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is sure to help usher in the holiday spirit. The parade is expected to last about two hours, a longstanding annual tradition for the region.

That same evening the Delray Beach Chorale & Chamber Ensemble kicks off its Winter Concert at Olympic Heights Performing Arts Theater in Boca Raton. The evening event calls for some traditional Christmas carols, Chanukah music and more.

Flagler Museum Christmas Tree Lighting- December 3

The next evening is the date for the Flagler Museum Tree Lighting in Palm Beach. The fun starts in mid-afternoon with live performances inside the museum plus caroling in the courtyard. The fun concludes with the Christmas Tree Lighting, led by relatives and descendants of Henry Flagler, himself.

Holiday Street Parade- December 6

The season is sure to look brighter with the start of the traditional Holiday Street Parade. Now in its 47th year, the annual event is dubbed “Light up Boca” this year, and sure to be fun for all those involved.

Holiday Boat Parade- December 8

Be sure to head down to the Intracoastal Waterway on December 8th for the Boynton Beach and Delray Beach Holiday Boat Parade. The festive tradition includes plenty of bright lights and holiday-themed boats, along with some carolers and other holiday displays.

FAU Tuba Christmas- December 10

It’s an FAU Tuba Christmas in Boca, when this free concert kicks off at Mizner Park Amphitheater on December 10. You don’t need a ticket but you may want to grab your chairs or blankets before you head out.

 

Lighting of the Menorah- December 12

Just a couple of days later marks the official Lighting of the Menorah. The event happens in early evening at Old School Square Park.

Jingle Bell Jog- December 16

Lace up your running shoes, and don’t forget your Santa hat, for the Delray Beach Jingle Bell Jog. All participants in the 5k run receive their own Santa suit, along with some jingle bells to strap to their shoes.

The Polar Express- December 22

With just a few days to go before Christmas, the City of Boca Raton plays host to a special showing of The Polar Express on December 22. The free movie screening in the downtown area is sure to be fun for those young and old.
