YachtRecently, it was announced that a $30 million plan has been created to redevelop the Delray Beach Yacht Club. This plan has not been approved yet, but many believe it will be approved by the city. It was created by the Seaside Builders and Seagate Hospitality Group LLC and they hope to start work in June.

When the plan is approved, the Delray Beach Yacht Club will receive a major overhaul. It will be torn down completely and rebuilt as the Seagate Yacht Club. The expected sales provides for units within the building is $3 million and up.

The Yacht Club will be found just south of the Atlantic Avenue Bridge, which is a very desirable location. It's rich in history, close to many major attractions and provides access to many high-end retail stores. However, the new Seagate Yacht Club won't be a high-rise because this goes against the current regulations for oceanfront property.

The plans will include many areas within the building including:

  • A Workout Area
  • Locker Rooms
  • A Swimming Pool
  • Sundeck
  • Social Area
  • And More!

Along with these common areas, the building will include 10 townhouses with three stories each. The townhouses will covers about 4,000 square feet each, include a private elevator, a two-car garage, a rooftop terrace, a pool courtyard and floor-to-ceiling windows.

This new development is expected to be very attractive with a modern look. It will provide many of the luxuries other buildings, similar in style, provide in the area.

An expected completion date has not been set yet. However, if construction starts on time, pre-sale of units within the Seagate Yacht Club could start as soon as the end of the summer. More news will be available as this development continues forward and looks for city approval in the very near future.
