If you're looking for sharks, fish, lobster and more, this is the place for you. The Gumbo Limbo Nature Center includes plenty of things for the entire family including a butterfly garden, 40-foot tower and a themed gift shop.

Sea Tank Pavilions

These special pavilions provide a beautiful construction with awesome saltwater tanks with plenty of great fish and South Florida habitat. With a combination of manmade elements and natural ones, you can enjoy the beauty of these tanks. Two of them are shallow, while the other two are deep. The shallow ones include coastal mangroves and reefs, while the deeper tanks include artificial shipwreck and tropical coral reef. All four are custom designed to help give you a look into the nature of Florida.

Another feature of the center is the Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility. This was opened in 2010, has since treated and released over 150 endangered turtles.

The Trails

Throughout the year, many programs for families, children and adults are held at the nature center, along with special events. You can take a group tour or field trip here with the school programs, enjoy sea turtle day or let your kids have fun at summer camp.
