With so much going on in the world, it's nice to read something good about your city or future city. Boca Raton has plenty going on and some of it is certainly good news. Here are three great stories to help cleanse your palette from all the world news.

Worth Avenue Named Iconic Street

Worth Avenue is an excellent street found in Boca and one of the best in the area. However, it's recently been ranked as one of the most memorable streets in the entire county. This Palm-lined street provides upscale beauty and was named by 10Best as one of the most iconic in the country.

Swank Table Series coming Soon

Sank Specialty Produce is one of the best providers for fresh ingredients throughout area restaurants. The company will soon launch a lunch series called "Swank Table," which will provide the public with the opportunity to experience these amazing ingredients.

Swank's Loxahatchee farm will be the host and the meals will be cooked by top area chefs. The meals will feature more than just the ingredients from the farm with many artisanal foods from purveyors available from all over the area.

The series will start on December 15th, when it's featured at the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival. Some of the chefs participating include Aaron Brooks, Nick Morfogen, Timon Balloo, Marc Vetri and many others. Prices range from $155 to $200 per person.

A New Dog Beach Coming Soon

Boca Raton will be getting a dog beach within the next two months. Deputy Mayor Susan Haynie proposed a program allowing dogs to roam on a 100-yard area of the beach. The location hasn't been determined just yet. This is good news for dog owners, as they can finally trade the streets for the sands and the day it opens, the chosen beach will be packed with dogs and owners.
