A golf tournament to benefit PROPEL, a not-for-profit organization in South Palm Beach, is scheduled for November 7th at 10:30am. This tournament will help raise funds to provide personal growth and social skills for young participants of PROPEL. It will be played at Mizner Golf and Country Club.
The Tournament
This tournament will be a four-person scramble with a post tournament dinner, cocktail party and awards ceremony. Along with the actual tournament, a longest drive contest and a closet to the pin contest will be provided on the course. A BBQ lunch, raffle, gift package and auction are all part of the event, as well.
The tournament will begin with registration and lunch from 10:30am to 12:30pm. A shotgun start will get things going shortly after and the post tournament reception will run from 5pm to 7pm.
Players can register as singles, as teams or just for the reception. The cost per team is $1,200 and per player is $300. If you just want to come out for the reception and dinner, ticket are $45.

Sponsorship provides plenty of publication and necessary funds to help the charity and run the event.
The Course
Mizner Country Club is one of the nicest courses in the area. It provides plenty of challenge and many beautiful holes for golfers to enjoy. If you've never played this course, the PROPEL tournament is a great chance to play an excellent course and help a charity at the same time.
